The String of Bananas is a wildly fast-growing, cascading succulent that brings a playful touch of nature right into your home. You will love this trailing beauty for its whimsical, crescent-shaped leaves that look exactly like miniature green bananas, making it a spectacular choice for a hanging basket or a tall plant stand. As a vigorous grower, its lush vines can easily cascade down three to four feet indoors, instantly adding a vertical element of living art to any sunny room without requiring constant fuss. It is the perfect match for the everyday gardener who wants the dramatic look of a trailing vine combined with the drought-tolerant resilience of a desert succulent.

To keep those little bananas plump and your vines growing strong, give this plant plenty of bright, indirect sunlightplacing it near a south- or east-facing window is ideal. Because it stores water in its fleshy foliage, you should always wait until the soil is completely dry from top to bottom before giving it a thorough soak, which prevents the roots from sitting in soggy soil and rotting. Please note that the String of Bananas is not pet-safe and can cause upset stomachs if nibbled, so you will want to keep those attractive, dangling vines safely out of reach from curious dogs and cats.
