The Arcadia D3 80W mercury vapour basking lamp combines heat, visible light, UVA and UVB in a single source, creating a concentrated basking zone.

Key features

• 80W self-ballasted mercury vapour lamp.
• E27 screw fitting for 220240V, 50Hz.
• No separate ballast required.

Use and care

Use a suitably rated ceramic holder and guard, and follow the mercury vapour installation instructions. This lamp is not suitable for dimming. Match fitting distance to the species and measure heat and UV at the basking position. Provide cooler areas and shade. Arcadia recommends supplementary linear UV lighting in longer vivaria for a broader UV gradient.
