Ensete ventricosum Hiniba is a rare and eye-catching ornamental banana valued for its bold form and striking coloration. It features large, upright paddle-shaped leaves in shades of deep green accented with dramatic reddish-pink midribs and a glaucous hue, giving the plant a vivid, tropical presence. Its thick, sturdy pseudostem adds to its architectural appeal, making it a standout specimen in gardens or large containers.

Fast-growing in warm conditions, Hiniba thrives in rich, well-drained soil with regular watering and plenty of light. Ideal as a focal plant, it brings an instant sense of scale and exotic beauty to landscapes, patios, or conservatories, creating a lush, tropical atmosphere wherever it is grown.

Not Hardy, like other Ensete they require winter protection.
