The Coleus is a fine choice of plant for the garden, but it is also a great option for planting in outdoor containers and hanging baskets. Coleus is an attractive large serrated plant with an upright spreading habit of growth. This plant will bring color and a tropical feel to your flower beds or containers. Its relatively coarse texture can be used to stand it apart from other garden plants with finer foliage.

The Coleus will grow to be about 24 inches tall at maturity, with a spread of 24 inches. When grown in masses or used as a bedding plant, individual plants should be spaced approximately 20 inches apart.
