Rudbeckia laciniata ‘Herbstsonne’, also known as Autumn Sun, is a towering perennial that brings luminous golden-yellow colour to the garden from August to October (sometimes into November). The bold flowers feature green central cones and rise above lush, matching foliage to around 2m tall.

Unlike many tall varieties, Herbstsonne retains its lower leaves while in bloom, giving it a neater, more refined look. Its an exceptional choice for adding height, late-season cheer, and architectural structure to borders.

Its fairly magnificent, really.
