FAQ

Does the Cornish Lantern use a real flame?

The glowing effect is created by the lantern’s light rather than an open flame. This gives the decorative piece its traditional flickering appearance without requiring a candle.

What happens after the four-hour timer finishes?

Once its lighting period ends, the flame-effect lamp switches off for 20 hours. The timer then follows the same daily cycle, making it useful when you want regular evening illumination without switching it manually each time.

Can I position the lantern away from a plug socket?

Three AAA batteries provide the power, so there is no mains cable restricting where the decorative lantern can sit. Batteries are not supplied and will need to be purchased separately.
