Product Description

Spiraea Magic Carpet offers a changing display of foliage colour, beginning with bronzed-gold new growth in spring. As the season progresses, the leaves turn yellow while retaining reddish-orange tones, creating a lively mix of warm shades.

Clusters of rich pink flowers appear in summer, standing out against the golden foliage. Its low, spreading dome provides a pleasing contrast to upright plants and works well towards the front of mixed borders or planted in groups for a broader sweep of colour.

This deciduous shrub grows best in full sun, where its foliage colour can be fully appreciated. Allow space for its spreading shape to develop, and combine it with contrasting green foliage or summer-flowering perennials for a colourful display.
